Admission Policy

Archimedes Academy has a limited unscreened admission policy for grade 6.  Students who plan to apply for Grade 6 must speak with their guidance counselor to obtain an application and priority is given to those who attend an MS Fair or Open House and then to District 8 residents.  For incoming 9th graders, admissions priority is given first to our current 8th graders and then to others through the Ed-Opt admissions method prioritizing math/science course grades, NYS Math Exam grade, attendance, and punctuality.
